Itinerary suggestion for a sample half-day tour:
10 am: Begin with a pickup from your Corfu hotel or the cruise port, then hop into your private, air-conditioned vehicle and travel to Achilleion Palace, the former home of Empress Elisabeth of Austria, Sissi.
Explore it on your own or, if you’ve opted to book a licensed guide, enjoy a guided tour of the palace’s highlights. Admire the statues, frescoes, paintings, and Neoclassical architecture, and learn everything you want to know about the royal residence’s long history.
12 pm: Head to the Kaiser’s Throne. Situated at the top of Pelekas village, this is one of the most famous lookout points, named after the German Emperor Kaiser Wilhelm II, who used to spend his summers in Corfu at Achilleion Palace, which he purchased in 1907.
Take the chance to catch with your camera great photographs of the amazing views of the undulating coastline, shimmering sea, and nearby islands. You may also head into the village and stop off at a local eatery for a drink or a bite (not included).
12:30 pm: Relax in your air-conditioned vehicle as you travel to one of Corfu’s beautiful beaches. On arrival, choose a spot on the shore, and then laze on the warm sands before diving into the clear waters for a refreshing swim. Golden sandy beaches, small pebbled, or maybe tiny coves, are some of the choices you will have to choose among!
14:00 pm: End your tour with a drop-off back at your hotel or cruise port after approximately four hours of exploring.
Please note: If you have opted for a half-day tour you can visit a total of three attractions or activities located in either one or two locations (Central, South, North). If you are interested in a full-day tour you will be able to visit up to six attractions with no location limitations so please let us know.
