The adventure starts from Sidari, it passes through Roda, Acharavi, and from Loutses to Old Perithia. Old Perithia is a very old typical Corfiot village, abandoned by its inhabitants many years ago. The village has hardly changed since then, so you can have an image of how life was centuries ago. After a short walk around the village, we take an off-road track towards Lafki and then to the top of the highest point of Corfu, Pantokrator (906m). At Pantokrator we will visit the monastery and its Greek Orthodox church (built in 1347), and enjoy the magnificent views of Corfu and Albania. We will have a short coffee stop in the small café in the monastery. After this stop, we will take the way downhill passing by the beautiful mountain villages of Strinilas, Sgourades, and Sokraki. Going through the Troubeta pass, we’ll continue along the road to Alimatades and Vistonas. We have another short stop above St. George Bay in point Helidoni. From here you may enjoy a fantastic view over the Ionian sea and the Diapontia islands North of Corfu. Then, we drive to St. George of the Ice Bay and we will have an approximately two hours stop in one of the local beach restaurants, so you can enjoy a typical Greek meal, a walk in the area or a swim in the sea. From St. George we will take the road through the northwest villages of Afionas, Arillas, St. Stefanos and Avliotes, until we’ll reach the beautiful sunset spot, Logas. Have a coffee stop at Logas until we take the way to Peroulades, Canal d’ Amour, Sidari, Karousades, and finally back to your hotel destination.
