Day Tour to Lefkada 24/06

Our journey starts from the port of Corfu at 07:00, next to the publishing houses, we leave with the morning ferry to Igoumenitsa, where with intermediate stops we will arrive at the Holy Monastery of Panagia Faneromeni for the dedication of the patron saint of the island. A historical monastery located in Lefkada. Panagia Faneromeni is dedicated to the Dormition of the Virgin Mary, who is also the patron saint of the island. It has been the religious center of the island for centuries as the oldest and largest monastery. Next stop at the village of Nydri, a well-known cosmopolitan tourist resort of the entire prefecture. The village became particularly well-known when in 1963 the shipowner Aristotelis Onassis bought the opposite islet Skorpios. Today the place remains a very popular destination as it generously offers its visitors the perfect balance between top amenities, simplicity and beauty. There we will have the opportunity to enjoy our walk through the shopping streets of the island with plenty of options for coffee and shopping. Then we return to Lefkada where we will have free time for food, a walk and a coffee. In the afternoon we will depart for Igoumenitsa where we will take the afternoon ferry for our return to Corfu.
